Some of my Portfolio Work!

Since I'm new to the whole blogging thing, I've decided to catch up on posts that I could have made a little while ago and share some of my portfolio work! Hope you enjoy! :)

This first shoot here, is another pin-up inspired theme that basically speaks for itself, beautiful models, beautiful results!

This next image is from a shoot I did with Heather, this shoot was another shoot that went along with my paint theme. It was also the first shoot I had done, in a long time, that wasn't full of punchy bright colours.

These next images are shot with a UV black light and a UV filter. Again sticking with my theme of paint I wanted to try something different and use some lighting that i've never had the chance to use before!

This is my Re-creation of an ad already done Ray-ban advertisement.

Lastly, I wanted to have something a little more dramatic/moody to ad some range into my portfolio. I love bright colours, but I also love very harsh contrast. It was really nice to try something different, basically one extreme to the other.

Painting Fashion Shoot

While I was in school I chose to follow a theme for my final semesters projects, this theme happened to be paint! This was the second project that I did with using paint, its main purpose would be a make-up ad of some kind or a painting ad. Either way I love the surreal look that it has and of course all the bright, fantastic colours :)

Body Paint Pin-up

My initial idea for this shoot was to make a time-lapse video documenting the process of a model being body-painted. Maggie Li, my wonderful make-up artist, spent a full 4 hours doing the painting and I quickly followed with a 30min shoot. I wanted to have a very traditional pin-up themed shoot, with a slight twist for something different. There were definitely some challenges that came along with a painted model, but I am fully happy with the way that this shoot turned out! Hope you enjoy my take on 1950's pin-up :)
